2. Order version 3A, which is the certified copy that many courts require.
3. Pay $12.00 by credit card.
4. You will receive your driving record from Austin in about one week.
Some courts in the state get your driving record for you, so check to see if the court has already obtained a copy of your record. Your record shows how many traffic tickets you have previously had dismissed by taking a defensive driving course in Texas. After you take our Texas Defensive Driving course, we will send you a certificate. This is your proof that you have taken a state approved course that will qualify to dismiss your traffic ticket. You will need to submit this certificate to the court by the date you have been given. Some courts also require a copy of your Texas driving record and other documents.
